About Valquíria Sales
Valquíria Sales Romero Marques is an architect, interior designer, researcher, author, educator, and marketing strategist with more than twenty years of experience across architecture, interior design, branding, digital marketing, and higher education. Throughout her career, she has combined creativity, innovation, and business strategy to develop projects, educational initiatives, and communication solutions that generate meaningful impact. Her multidisciplinary background spans residential and commercial design, marketing, digital media, and academic research, allowing her to integrate design excellence, strategic thinking, and human-centered solutions. Valquíria holds a Master’s Degree in Urbanism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas), where her research focused on the use of digital media for the preservation and promotion of architectural heritage. Her academic interests explore the intersection of architecture, technology, artificial intelligence, culture, and the built environment. In addition to her graduate studies, she has pursued advanced education in Marketing, Interior Design, and Digital Communication, expanding her expertise in branding, public engagement, and business development. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), further strengthening her knowledge of leadership, strategy, and organizational development. Her work reflects a commitment to using design and innovation to strengthen communities, enhance cultural awareness, and create lasting value. Throughout her professional journey, Valquíria has held leadership roles in retail, e-commerce, marketing, and higher education. Her experience includes visual merchandising, digital marketing, academic administration, curriculum development, project management, architectural consulting, and university teaching. As a professor and academic coordinator, she contributed to educational innovation while mentoring future professionals in design and communication-related fields. Her scholarly and professional work includes research, publications, educational initiatives, and creative projects that explore the relationship between architecture, communication, technology, and cultural heritage. Through her writing and research, she seeks to expand public engagement with the built environment while promoting innovative approaches to education, preservation, and community development. As an entrepreneur, she has founded and led businesses in architecture, interior design, and creative consulting, developing projects that combine design, strategy, and communication to create meaningful experiences and long-term value.
